Practice Description

Influenced by time spent living abroad and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity, I approach counseling from a global perspective. Despite where we come from, I believe that people, at the end of the day, have more in common with one another than not, for we are all merely human, doing the best we can in the moment. Self-exploration through counseling can be a conduit through which one remembers that there exists a liberating and very basic human element to life.

My Style:
Though I am directive in style, occasionally giving homework and challenges, I will never tell you what to do. With roots in relational and feminist theory, I believe that you are the expert on your own life and that you, ultimately, know what is best for you—although maybe you’ve forgotten how to listen to yourself. Those old rules you learned long ago and continue to abide today may no longer serve you. Perhaps the time has come for you to write a new life story. Using a holistic therapeutic approach, we will explore the mind, body and spirit connection while searching for ways to bring your life back into balance. I look forward to supporting you in this process.
